Book my free solar consultation

Online by default. If you'd rather talk by phone, or meet at home in parts of Central Florida, Tampa Bay and the Space Coast, you can choose that when you book. A home visit takes about an hour. Nobody knocks on your door because you looked at a website.

The conversation at a glance

From a first question to a clearer next step.

Step by step

Know what
comes next.

  1. Pick a time

On our booking page, in the chat on this site, or by calling us. We ask for your name, email, phone and the address of the home, and check we cover the area. On the booking page you also choose how to meet: a video call, a phone call or a home visit where we offer them.

  2. Get your calendar invite

By email, with the time and, for a video call, the link to join. It also has a link to upload a recent electric bill, so the consultant can look at your real usage before you talk.

  3. Review your home

A consultant from a licensed Florida contractor joins you by video and shares their screen, or calls you, or comes to your home if that is what you chose (a home visit takes about an hour). They go through your home, your bill and your options, and answer whatever you ask. This is the place for the awkward questions.

  4. Understand the options

Ask what a proposed system would include, what it would cost and what assumptions sit behind any estimate. The licensed contractor works out the numbers from your home and your usage rather than an average. If you want power during outages, ask about battery backup: a standard solar system switches itself off when the grid goes down. If solar does not suit your house, that is a fine answer too.

  5. Decide in your own time

Nothing is signed on the call, and nothing has to be settled there. Any numbers you are given are yours to take away and think about. If you want to stop hearing from us, tell us once.

Worth having ready

Three things.
No homework marathon.

  • A recent electric billHelpful, not required to book. One bill is plenty; upload it with the link in your invite, or have it to hand.
  • A rough idea of roof age“I'm not sure” is a useful starting point too. If the roof is near the end of its life, that is worth dealing with first.
  • Anyone who decides with youThey can join the same conversation.

Common questions

Good to know
before you book.

How long is the consultation?

About 30 minutes by video call or phone. Home visits take about an hour and are offered only in some areas.

Is the consultation free?

Yes, and booking it doesn't commit you to anything.

Who runs the consultation?

A consultant from a Florida-licensed solar contractor. Terra Green Solar arranges it. We are not a contractor, so any contract would be with the solar contractor. More about Terra Green Solar.

How do I know I'm booked?

A calendar invite comes to the email you book with. That invite is your confirmation, and for a video call it has the link to join.

Can I change or cancel?

Yes. Reply to any message from us, or call (407) 633-3563. You do not need to give a reason.

Will you sell my details?

No. Your details go to a licensed Florida contractor so they can run your consultation, and nowhere else. We do not sell or share contact information for anyone else's marketing. That is in writing on our privacy notice.

Do I need to own the home?

Only the owner can approve work on the roof. If you rent, talk to your landlord first.
